SWIM KIDS
Swim Kids Ltd was formed in 2000, by swimming
teacher Karen Webb-Meek. Karen an A.S.A. swimming teacher, water polo coach
and parent & child specialist she, has been involved in teaching swimming
for 24 years, and has managed swim schools in the UK before teaming up with
First Choice.
BIOGRAPHY
Through running Swim Kids, Karen has gained unique specialist knowledge of
the overseas swimming business, and now has valuable specialist knowledge in
pool risk assessment, and personnel management and swim co-ordination. Swim
Kids is now business partners with the ASA, and business development manager
Mandy Mason, and ex-Olympic swimmer Sarah Price from the ASA work closely
with Karen to help promote and develop the Swim Kids lessons.
Karen lives in Cleethorpes, and has three children, Katie, Poppy & Harvey,
and is married to Bill, a botanist and British wildlife expert. In their
spare time, both Karen & Bill both accomplished artists, spend time painting
and drawing and photographing British flora. AWARDS
2006 Karen won an ASA Swimtastic award for outstanding achievement in
swimming for the Swim Kids business.
Karen was also voted Business woman of the year 2006, for the Hull & Humber
Chamber of Commerce, for Swim Kids and her other business interest retail
jewellery
